Ordering: |
With financing in place and your design selection
chosen, the order will be placed for the home. Depending on the speed of
financing, you could be ordering your new home just days after the initial
consultation. |
| 4.
Construction: |
Once the order has been placed, the professional
craftsmen at Wausau homes will begin building your new dream home. It will
be delivered shortly thereafter on semi trailers, ready to be set by crane.

Setup & Enclosing: |
The setup of the walls for the home takes
a very short period of time. With typical stick construction, your house
may be exposed to the elements for days or even weeks at a time. With
a Custom home by Barker Construction, your home is exposed to the elements
for a 24-48 hours max. This ensures that the quality components that were
assembled at the factory retain their quality for the life of your home. |

Finishing: |
Once the exterior of the house has been enclosed,
the finishing crews will start to complete the inside of the house. Electrical,
plumbing, drywall, cabinets and carpet are all finished very quickly. Where
typical construction can take 3-4 months before the house is completed,
you could be living in your new home 1-2 moths after the foundation is installed.
